Spring Baskets 2019

This is a selection of photos taken over 2 days in May 2019. Burbage Gardening Club planted the Summer 2019 hanging baskets for Burbage Parish Council. The first task in week 1 was to strip out the plants and compost from the previous Autumn’s baskets. This was a particularly wet Tuesday morning, thank goodness we had some shelter with the gazebos provided by BPC! Then in week 2 the compost and fertilisers were mixed, the baskets refilled and then planted before being assembled into groups of 8 for the BPC staff to collect and hang around the village. It was a much dryer and brighter Tuesday morning on that occasion.
