BGC Skittles Evening
On Friday, 23rd January, we held another of our skittles evenings. We were very lucky this year, as there was no snow or fog, unlike in previous years. We had around 64 participants, some Burbage Garden Club members and some non-members. The event was held at Wolvey Bowling Club. Three different games of skittles were played: Table, Long Alley and Bar.
During the evening, we had fish/pie, chips, and mushy peas provided by Burbage Fishery in Windsor Street, Burbage. It was a great evening and ended with a complimentary raffle. Hopefully, we can organise another one next year as it has become very popular.
