AGM Daffodil Display

It was fitting that the BGC Annual Daffodil Competition, held at the 2022 AGM, took place on St David’s Day. Arrays of beautiful, jolly blooms were on display for the AGM attendees to peruse, and subsequently vote for their favourite. The winner was Judy Buckell with her three small, but perfectly formed, daffodils. Linda Barrett presented Judy with the cup – a replacement cup provided by Dave Baggott. A combination of being early in the year and miserable weather meant that some members had to be resourceful in order to get the buds to open – including putting them in the oven!!!
